While many may still be lamenting the closing of GSC Game World and the ceasing of development for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, Vostok Games is still slowly plowing away at creating a similar experience for multiple players in Survarium. In the latest video from the ex-S.T.A.L.K.E.R devs, we see two groups go at each other in some alpha gameplay footage.

Vostok Games seems to have nailed the tone of their previous games, with a radiation soaked landscape that begs to be explored when you aren’t being killed by the environment and other scavengers. It does seem however that the game has a way to go yet, making that late 2013 release date seem unlikely right now.

You can still sign up for the alpha on the site here, which will be available whenever Vostok Games release it outside Russian speaking territories.
