Va the official Playstation EU blog, Insomniac games and Sony have announced that Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus (or simply just Ratchet & Clank: Nexus) will be released on November 13th, 2013.

Sony has billed the game as an “epilogue” of sorts to the Ratchet & Clank Future series on PS3. As such, the game is deliberately short, and is priced as a budget title at £19.99/€29.99.

Insomniac Games aims to “tie a bow” on the PS3 era of Ratchet & Clank, potentially meaning that the series will see a jump to the PS4 from now on. Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus claims to be a return to the gameplay seen in “the ratchet adventures of yore”.

Sony also confirmed that players who preorder the game will receive bonus content in the form of Ratchet’s snazzy new Pyronox Armor, which reduces damage taken by 5%.

Ratchet & Clank : Into the Nexus will be released exclusively on PS3 on November 13th, 2013.
