The beta for Battlefield 4 is now live. Those who pre-ordered BF4 Digital Deluxe Edition for PC on Origin, are Battlefield 3 premium members, or those who are registered owners of Medal of Honor Warfighter Digital Deluxe Edition can download the beta now.
The full public beta, which is open to all all Xbox Live, PSN and Origin members, will launch on Friday, October 4th.
The battlefield 4 beta will include the Siege of Shanghai map, as well as two game modes: Conquest and Domination. The beta is also set to show off the game’s “Levolution” concept, which allows for the manipulation of environments, be it destructive or otherwise, to ensure that no two games are ever the same.
The Battlefield 4 beta will also introduce players to Battlepacks, which are random combinations of new camos, dog tags, etc that players will earn by progressing through multiplayer. EA is hoping that this will introduce an element of randomness to the game.
EA has also announced that Battlefield 4 premium will be available, and will provide exclusive perks and content much in the same way that Battlefield 3 Premium did.
