Deadfall Adventures is borrowing heavily from old pulp style novels, primarily H. R. Haggard’s Quatermain novels the games world is set in. With that also comes a certain level of resemblance to both the Indiana Jones movies, and the Uncharted games. Dubbed a “first-person ego-shooter”, Deadfall Adventures will have you experiencing the winders of being an adventurer in first-person.
Puzzle-solving seems to be as important as gunning down enemies, having you rely on a compass and treasure maps to get by. With a single-player campaign spanning Egypt, Mayan Ruins, and the Artic, it seems like an interesting mix, and a title well worth investigating.
Deadfall Adventures is out on PC and Xbox 360 November 15.
