Watch Dogs will be released in November coming to the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Next-Gen consoles.
Creative Director, Jonathan Morin has said:
“Right now the frame rate we’re focusing on [is] a steady 30[fps]” on PS4 and Xbox One. “There’s always a balance, especially for open world, between the simulation and the rest. I think for where we are, the most important thing is the steadiness and that it’s always capped the same so when you play it it feels right.”
Most games run at between 20-30FPS for a good gaming experience.
Although the frame rate has been confirmed, Morin has not confirmed Watch Dogs will run at either 720p or 1080p, but has said there will be an obligatory install for the Xbox 360, and continues by saying that he expects the PC version look the best.
