Second Life Recieves New Features And Graphical Facelift

It is hard to define Second Life as a game, fitting more inside the category of a virtual social hub with a very shiny interface. Recently celebrating its 10th year anniversary, Linden Lab have given the game a graphical revamp. On top of this, additional features have been introduced to keep the experience relevant.

Better lighting, animation, and textures make the basic experience much more visually appealing, with streamlined chat and a friendlier introduction to round out the update. The other relatively large addition is being able to post to Facebook. While this means both primary and secondary lives will now collide, photos and achievements can be posted to your timeline.

What do you think? Have you ever dipped your two into Second Life? Were you even aware it was still going? Let us know in the comments.
