ATLUS has opened up a new teaser site, which features the ever-popular mysterious countdown. The site is at the webpage http://p-ch.jp/, and merely features a time and date.

Could this be the much-rumored, long sought-after Persona 5 announcement that fans have desperately been craving? Only time will tell, but what is of note is the teaser site features both the ATLUS logo and the logo for P-studio – the devloper behind Persona 4.

It seems that the Persona series has garnered a cult following. A spin off from the Shin Megami Tensei series of JRPGs, Persona launched its 4th iteration on PS2 in 2008. Since then, it has received a fighting game sequel in Persona 4 Arena, and a remake in Persona 4 Golden, which was released on PS Vita. The P4 series is still going strong with the announcement of Persona 4: The Ultimate Ultra Suplex Hold yesterday.
