GAME stores around the country will be opening at midnight so gamers can play the latest edition in EA’s annual sports franchise, FIFA 14. To help celebrate the launch of the next football title, a number of stores up and down the country will be playing host to Premier League level footballing talent. The full list of stores that will be hosting football talent and the stars attending are below:
- GAME Hayes will be visited by Fulham’s Scott Parker (4pm-6pm)
- GAME West Thurrock will be visited by West Ham’s Jack Collison (6pm-8pm)
- GAME Livingstone will be visited by Celtic’s Jamie Forrest (6pm-8pm)
- GAME Metrocentre Gateshead will be visited by Newcastle’s Shola Ameobi (4pm-6pm)
- GAME Liverpool Lord Street will be visited by Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson (3pm-5pm)
- GAME Nuneaton will be visited by Leicester Cities Anthony Knockaert (4pm-6pm)
- GAME Doncaster will be visited by Doncaster Rovers’ Harry Forrester (4pm-6pm)
“FIFA 14 is going to be a huge hit with fans and we’re expecting big crowds for our midnight openings,” GAME stores director Dave Howard stated.
“Over 300 GAME stores will be opening at midnight and we know how important it is for fans to get their hands on the game as soon as possible. And we’re delighted to announce the premiership talent we’ve got coming along to some of our stores – we’ve put our best squad forward to kick off the FIFA 14 season in style.”
