The 1.1 patch update for Rise of the Triad was released today, which included hundreds of fixes, alterations, optimizations and features that have been requested and recommended by the Triad community. A highlight of the patch includes 5 entirely new MP maps for players to interact and engage with. 

Frederik Schreiber of Interceptor Entertainment has commented today,

“We are extremely happy about the feedback we have gotten from you guys and we couldn’t have done it without you.” 

The greatest fact about this massive update is that it is entirely free and is simply just the starting point in a series improvements coming towards Rise of the Triad. The launch trailer below provides more details on the patch.
