EA To Release Next-Gen Titles Ahead of Hardware

EA’s big releases for the month of November; Battlefield 4, FIFA 14 and Madden NFL 25, will release 3 days before their next-gen hardware in the US. This means that the PS4 versions will arrive on November 12th ahead of the US November 15th release, and the Xbox One versions will arrive on November 19th ahead of the November 21st console release. This news was confirmed by Peter Moore, EA’s COO, over on EA’s website.

It is important to note however that this only applies to the US release. If you are a European consumer your opportunity to grab the afore-mentioned games for PS4 and Xbox One will be at the same time as the next-gen consoles themselves. The current-gen and PC copies of the games will be available ahead of time however, with FIFA 14 being released September 17th, Battlefield 4 on November 1st and Madden NFL 25 being out now.
