Bound by Flame RPG – Teaser Trailer

Bound by Flame, the latest RPG created by Spiders Studio for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 displayed it’s teaser trailer to the world.

Building on the previous game from Spiders Studios Mars War Logs  their latest installment will aim to improve the dynamic and tactical approach of its predecessor. There will be an increase in attack and skill abilities, with animations becoming more organic and awe inspiring. The player will have to utilize these skills strategically however, as the creatures and beasts you must face in the game will not be pushovers.

In terms of plot we know that you play as a mercenary possessed by a flame demon. Due to this players will need to make crucial decisions over letting this power take control or to fight against it in order to keep your humanity and progress through natural human powers. Bound by Flame hopes to tempt you into using these demonic powers in order to deal with the more punishing enemies in the world. By using this power the character will lose part of their, “soul” and this will be presented in the gradual demonization of the Hero’s body.

Depending on the influence of the Demon over your character chapters within the game will alter according to choices you make, increasing replayability. The battles themselves will occur in real time with the player being able to expand their first three main skills trees of combat, fire magic and assassination over time which dynamically alters each battle experience.

It has been confirmed that your mercenary hero will be a custom character, so you can pick you gender and facial features. Spiders Studio noted that these custom choices will also alter the appearance of the Demon according to your alterations. Crafting will also be a central aspect of the game with players being able to improve their armor and weapons through their play through. There will also be several companions who follow you through the game and, once more depending on your choices, they will either develop friendships, romance or even attempt go against your character as time goes on.

Pinning the combat together and the challenges you must face are their mass array of creatures, from shadow dragons, liches the undead and ice monsters.
