Matthew Bromberg – The New Head Of BioWare

Today Electronic Arts have appointed Matthew Bromberg, previous general manager of BioWare, Austin as group general manager of the BioWare label across Texes, Canada and California.

Bromberg had joined EA in May 2012 as general manager of Bioware Austin, the studio behind Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic. It was here he took a leading role in converting the title from subscription to free-to-play.

Other experiences includes his previous 4 years as president and CEO of Major League Gaming. He will now play the role left by BioWare founders Ray Muzuka and Greg Zeschuk who retired last September. Jeff Hickman will replace Bromberg as general manager of Bioware Austin. It is presumed that Mr.Bromberg’s main focus will be on finalizing the work in BioWare’s next gen title, Dragon Age: Inquisition.
