Microsoft has confirmed the second specification boost to come to the Xbox One prior to it’s launch in November. GeekWire reports that Yusef Mehdi, Xbox’s Chief Marketing Officer, has informed the Citi Global Technology Conference that the Xbox One GPU has had it’s clock speed increased from 1.6GHz up to 1.75GHz. This spec boost follows the prior boost to the GPU’s speed from 800MHz to 853MHz.
Mehdi also confirmed that the console is now in full production. Rather unsurprising considering the number of pre-orders the console is receiving. He wouldn’t disclose the exact release date of the system, however rumours indicate that it may be revealed later today.
