Sony Role Out Plethora Of Indie Games For Current And Next-Gen

Sony has always been loud and proud about how much they love indie devs. Since the success of ThatGamesCompany with Flow, Flower and Journey, Song have been making a lot of noise to make sure everyone knows they are the place to go for console indie titles.

At this years Gamescom Sony have railed off a bunch of titles that range from pure exclusive, to console exclusive and just on Playstation for the moment. Take a look below for the full run down of the games and what they are about:

Rime – So far looking like a mix of Ico and Journey as a child explores a desolate, yet beautiful island, with only animals for company.

Rogue Legacy – The PC rogue-like 2D game that mixes RPG and Platformer for an extreme challenge.

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth – Another rogue-like that refuses to stop reappearing time and time again.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number – Part video nasty, part arcade top-down kill’em up, this sequel will end the franchise in a gory and mind-bending way.

Helldivers – From the makers of Magicka, this isometric shooter will most likely challenge players and friendships in an Alien Swarm style shooter.

Shadow of the Beast – Remake/Re-imagining of a classic game. Who knows what to expect at this point.

Resogun – Side-scrolling shooter from the makers of Super Stardust. Colourful and noisy.
