Metal Gear Solid V: New Surprise

Hideo Kojima, the developer of Metal Gear Solid, has announced there will be a special surprise within the new game, but there will be no spoilers.

“Specifically for the next-gen and Metal Gear Solid 5, it’s not necessarily about breaking the fourth wall, but we do have a big surprise for the players in this game. We have challenged and pushed ourselves with something that movies can’t do but only games can do. It hasn’t been done before.”

Many of Kojima’s followers would know that he loves movies and sees them as a big inspiration. He’s always found a new insane element to add to the series. Hideo has many new ideas, however the Metal Gear team have been having some issues with some of these grand plans:

“I’m very interested in that stuff whether it be the facial expression readings or something else,” he continued. “But we’re having a hard time with that and we’re not sure if we’ll be able to implement something for MGS 5. But we’re still looking at it and are really interested in the new Kinect.”

What do you think his new idea could be? Tell us in the comments.
