Revealed at E3 this year, the Games with Gold promotion gives Xbox Live Gold Subscribers the chance to grab free games for subscribing to Xbox Live Gold.
With Assassin’s Creed 2’s stint as the free title now finished, the next game to see the Games with Gold treatment will be the original Crackdown game, usually £11.99 Crackdown will be free for Gold subscribers from today until August 15th.
After Crackdown returns to usual price it will be Dead Rising 2’s turn to be free. Usually £19.99 on the Games on Demand store it will be free 16th August until the months end. As if that wasn’t enough however, you can also get the prequel Case Zero alongside Dead Rising 2 at the same time.
Seen as a response to PS+ by some, Games with Gold seems to be taking more steps in the right direction by providing more amazing games for people to play. What do you think though? Is Microsoft selecting the correct games to convince people to stay subscribed to Xbox Live Gold?
