Batman: Arkham Origins will contain an online component which aims to blend the traditional Arkham series gameplay with a set of third-person shooter mechanics, a component which is in development by Splash Damage.

The online mode gives players the opportunity to play as either Batman or Robin against friends and other online gamers. Players can also play as a Super-Villain Elite under the command of The Joker or Bane or play as The Joker or Bane themselves.

This could be quite an interesting addition to the Arkham series and it is going to be exciting to see how this multiplayer mode turns out.
