Too….stupid…cannot…compute…
Sometimes you hear about someone being stupid on the internet and you laugh and then brush it off. Then you see something like this and you then realise “Man, it can get stupider”.
The gist of this is that the creators of the amazing Super Meat Boy, Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes, received a phone call from a “Film Producer” looking to make a movie based on the hit indie platform game. After realising the guy was talking rubbish they decided to not only start trolling him but to record it and put it up on the internet for all to see and enjoy.
A few highlights:
- The “Producer” calls the game “Super Meat Head”
- Suggesting that they make a movie with fake controllers to make people think they are playing the movie
- Convincing the guy that Steam is “small time”
- Team Meat’s Manager is Abba.
- Making him believe that “direct to drive” downloads are owned by Rupert Murdoch
- The movie could be filmed LIVE ACTION.
- They make up technical terms and programs that do not exist e.g. “Degenerative sales mark-up” which is a program that analyses web traffic and bandwidth via Xbox Live which then reverse traces to give a count of the amount of bits used and charge a fee accordingly.
- And finally, as the videos title suggests, Art is Car backwards.
What are your thoughts on this? Is it Funny? Or just immature trolling?
