While Killer Is Dead only has Suda 51 as the Executive Director you can see his hand at work throughout this trailer, that undercurrent of utter madness is a bit of a giveaway. As Suda 51 is CEO of Grasshopper Manufacture, the developer of Killer Is Dead, his special brand of style must have rubbed off rather well onto the team.
So far Killer Is Dead seems to be a healthy mix of No More Heroes and Killer7 while also doing it’s own thing. While previously described as the antithesis of Lollipop Chainsaw, it seems like a look back at everything Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture have achieved in the last decade of gaming.
Killer Is Dead is out on PS3 and Xbox 360 August 27th this year.
