Konami has finally given US football (er….soccer) fans a solid date for the release of the latest entry in the long-running football series across the pond. Konami has set the date for PES 2014 as September 24th 2013 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
The new game is powered by Kojima Productions’ Fox Engine, a cross-platform piece of tech that is most famously being used to create Metal gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for next-gen consoles.
PES 2014 is designed around six key areas of design, one of which is the “heart” system, which affects how a player performs depending on his mental state (but a player’s team mates can rally around him and help improve his performance).
The game also touts double the number of players that utilize the PES ID system when compared to PES 2013, a feature which makes certain players move and behave like their real-life counterparts.
