Sign-ups are now live for Sony’s newest handheld fps Killzone Mercenary. Sony are confident that the new game will show off the PSVita as the ‘optimal handheld platform for first-person shooters.’ But with the main rival hand-held being the 3DS, being the best at FPS games on handhelds shouldn’t be a challenge.

Applications for the beta are being taken until July 17 with the released date planned to be September 10th in NA and Septembers 18th in EU.
