Capcom have announced they they will be hosting a tournament for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcop 3 and Street Fighter X Tekken. The tournament will be called The Capcom Cup. Eight of the best players in the world for easy game will compete for the cup. The first Street Fighter IV tournament qualifier will be hosted at this week’s EVO 2013. 

Capcom have said that they don’t have the resources to run a tournament to rival last year’s Street Fighter’s 25th Anniversary but they still want to support the community themselves. Working together with the WCG they want to continue supporting Street Fighter as an eSport.
