After a long 2 years spent in sort-of-open-sort-of-closed beta Dota 2 has finally been released as a full finished game. The recent news article on Dota 2’s Steam page says ‘No, Really: DOTA 2’s Beta is Over.’ Valve kept their promise of fully releasing the game some time before the Internation 3 tournament in August with time left to spare. So now all we have to do is see if the 2 year beta was worth it, or a waste of everyone’s time.
