Exato Game Studios Announces Full Twitch Integration Into Guncraft

Exato Game Studios and Reverb Publishing announced today that their upcoming ‘Minecraft meets Call of Duty’  shooter Guncraft will be incorporating live streaming to Twitch. Twitch is the world’s leading video platform and community for gamers (we do our livestreams on Twitch, so if we’re doing it then it must be huge. Using Twitch’s Software Development Kit (SDK), gamers everywhere will be able to  launch Twitch directly from Guncraft for real-time broadcasting of their matches, sharing their wild creations, and showcasing custom-designed weapons (here’s hoping for the cow launcher from South Park: The Game) from the exclusive Gun Smithing feature.

“I’m buzzing to seeing how much more Twitch integration brings the community closer together,” says John Getty, lead developer for Guncraft and founder of Exato Game Studios. “Now all of our players can broadcast their matches and epic headshots with no hurdles. Guncraft has always been about creating and sharing, and Twitch makes this even better.”

The Twitch SDK will be fully incorporated into Guncraft via a launch day patch on Desura, GOG, Green Man Games, Rain Digital Games, and on the Guncraft Website. Guncraft has also recently been Greenlit by the Steam community, so expect to see it launching on that platform later this summer.

In celebration of Guncraft’s impending launch, the development teams will be utilizing the Twitch SDK to live stream a three day “Block and Loaded Marathon” from 12 PM EDT, July 8 through midnight EDT, July 11, after which players will be able to download, then update, the launch build of Guncraft in order to live stream through Twitch immediately. Not only that, Exato Game Studios is creating a Twitch character skin which will be included in-game with the Twitch patch. If you can’t wait until the release then go download the on-going Beta here.
