In a disclaimer released by Microsoft, The Xbox One is only planned to be supported in certain Xbox Live countries. Here is a list of the countries that are supported:

• Austria
• Belgium
• Brazil
• Canada
• Denmark
• Finland
• France
• Germany
• Ireland
• Italy
• Mexico
• Netherlands
• New Zealand
• Norway
• Russia
• Spain
• Sweden
• Switzerland
• United Kingdom
• United States
This list confirms that a majority of countries will not be supported upon launch of the Xbox One. This includes countries like Poland where the company CD Projekt RED is currently working on their big next gen title, Witcher 3. This may only be a matter of which countries will have Xbox Live connectivity at launch and not a direct use of the console, but that has yet to be clarified.
