EA is making sure to give the gaming community what they have been asking for. Mirrors Edge 2 is “coming…when it’s ready”.
DICE is giving gamers the sequel to the cult hit from 2008. Bringing back Faith and the unnamed city, Mirror’s Edge 2 will bring back free-running and first-person combat. Hopefully they will fix all of the issues players had with the first game, including under-developed combat. This will be critical as the in-game footage used in the trailer gave the impression of having a much more developed combat engine.
Using a remix of the “Still Alive” theme from the first was also a nice tough for fans who are surely happy at the development.
Mirror’s Edge 2 will be on PC, Xbox One and PS4 and run on the Frostbite 3 Engine.
