Playdead today announced the release of LIMBO on PlayStation Vita. Downloadable via PlayStation Network on the device, the multi-award winning game is now debuting for handheld gamers. The game is out now for $14.99 in the US and will be out tomorrow in Europe for €12.99/£9.99. LIMBO supports cross-buy, a feature of Playstation Network which gives players a license for both Playstation Vita and PlayStation 3 in one purchase.
LIMBO was the first game published by Playdead, an independent game studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark. While the production of LIMBO spanned over three and a half years, nearly 10 years has passed since Arnt Jensen created the game’s first concept art piece. Since its launch in 2010, LIMBO has received over 100 awards and sold almost 3 million copies worldwide on the most popular consoles and PCs.
