The Night of the Rabbit Releases Today

The Night of the Rabbit, the latest adventure game masterpiece from Daedalic Entertainment, is now available for PC and Mac.

The Night of the Rabbit is available on Steam, launching today in two editions: For $19.99, players will receive the full game. The Special Edition of The Night of the Rabbit, priced at $24.99, additionally contains the audiobook “Of Mice, Squirrels and Mousewood Forest” in English as well as the game’s original soundtrack. The game is also available via GOG.com.

The Night of the Rabbit features beautiful, hand-drawn graphics and animations, as well as a number of in-game extras, such as the audio book stories, “Eight stories from Mousewood”, which can be activated while playing the game. All these tales are based on the game’s setting, a magic forest inhabited by mice and other talking creatures.

Daedalic Entertainment has published the first of these stories as a free download to accompany the release.

“Of Mice, Squirrels and Mousewood Forest” is a story about Mousewood’s name and heritage and something on the power of names themselves; they can give a good idea of what to expect from a person or location, but, on the other hand, don’t necessarily reveal everything to be discovered.

The Night of the Rabbit and the audio book stories are suited for people of all ages, and are excellent family entertainment.

We’re loving the look and sound of this game, if the footage we’ve seen so far is anything to go from anyway. We’ll have a review of The Night of the Rabbit up soon enough, but for those of you who can’t wait the game is available now.
