Microsoft’s Head of Audio, Mark Yeend, to Deliver the Audio Keynote at Develop Conference 2013

Develop Conference will be coming around once again this year between the dates of the 9th to the 11th of July at the Hilton Metropole in Brighton. Delivering the Audio Keynote will be Microsoft Studios Head of Audio, Mark Yeend.

Alan Wake, Halo 3 and Fable 3 are but a few of the IP’s that Mark Yeend has created sound for, with credits on over 50 titles on multiple platforms. Now at the head of the audio team at Microsoft Game Studios, Mr Yeend directs an audio team for various Microsoft game productions all over the world.

Thursday 11 July will be the Audio Day at the Develop Conference. This day has been curated by John Broomhall, composer, audio director and consultant. He had a few words to say about the conference.

“We have a stonking speaker line-up this year with lots of fresh faces from around the globe, including developers we’ve wanted to get involved for years but their game project timings have always clashed previously. Plus we have a superb keynote speaker in Mark Yeend who has a unique perspective on the industry. Add to that the great networking – the audio community has a superb ethic when it comes to sharing experiences and lessons learned – and hanging out with industry friends, and I know we’re set for another excellent Develop in Brighton.”
