The movie based on Ubisoft’s hugely popular video game Assassin’s Creed, starring Michael Fassbender, will be released soon the 22nd May 2015, covering Memorial Day weekend. So far the project does not have a director attached to it, but we expect that to change very soon now that the release date has been confirmed. Hollywood is a little slow to start on these projects and who even knows if Assassins Creed will still be anywhere near as popular in 2015 as it is now (we’ll be on Assassins Creed X by then for one thing). At any rate, we’re excited to see whether Hollywood can make a decent video-game based movie for once.
