Lost Planet 3 Pre-Order Trailers and details

The BestBuy pre-order pack.

3 different places, 3 different incentives to pre-order. Trailers from Amazon, BestBuy and GameStop have been released showing the pre-order incentives for Lost Planet 3, the game people know exists but aren’t too sure on the details. If you pre-order from BestBuy you will receive the Assault Pack, which gives you 3 Close Quarter Combat weapons as well as 2 Powerful Rig Upgrades.

Pre-ordering with GameStop will get you the Freedom Fighter pack, which has 5 unique Multiplayer characters (including Hunk from the Resident Evil series – seriously, this guy just doesn’t die!) as well as 2 Powerful Rig Upgrades.

Finally players who pre-order it from Amazon will receive the Punisher pack, which gives you 3 powerful Long Range weapons as well as the 2 Powerful Rig Upgrades.

Lost Planet 3 will be coming to Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on 27th August 2013 now due to another delay (it was previously slated for a June release in Europe). The latest game in the series introduces Jim Peyton, a Utility Rig pilot who leaves Earth to take on a hazardous but lucrative contract on E.D.N III. Things quickly turn sour and the action takes place both inside and outside of Jim’s rig vehicle, which acts as the home away from home in the ever changing climate. You have the option to take on the world on foot or use the Rig and the assortment of tools it comes with as you survive on the harsh planet. Lost Planet 3 was developed with the Unreal Engine 3 so you can expect some pretty nice graphics and unique terrain that will impact on the gameplay, and for those who have played the previous games you may be happy to hear that The Akrid are back.

So will it be GameStop, BestBuy, Amazon or none of the above for you? Are you looking forward to the title, despite it being delayed until August? Let us know in the comments section below.
