Got three friends but no games to play together? EA and Insomniac Games have teamed up to create the perfect game for you then – Fuse, a four-player co-op action shooter set to launch on 31st May in Europe.
Fuse thrusts you into the roles of four elite, covert agents: Dalton Brooks, Izzy Sinclair, Joacb Kimble and Naya Deverarux, who each have their own xenotech weapon and set of unique skills which are used to fight and protect humanity from a deadly energy source known as fuse. Fuse marks the company’s first multiplatform release, as it will be available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles.
On the topic of the weapons, Ted Price, CEO and Founder of Insomniac Games, said “Insomniac Games is best known for delivering best-in-class weaponry that breaks the mold of traditional video games – and Fuse is no different. These xenotech weapons further the unnovation players will find in this unique, action co-op shooter.”
Also players who pre-order Fuse from selected retailers will be able to unlock special armour and weapon customisations for each of the game’s four elite agents. The pre-order bonuses include:
– Four Hyperion Prototype Agent Armour Skins
– Four Hyperion Prototype Weapon Skins
– Quickdraw Team Perk – Increase your damage with this team perk, adding a bonus to your one-handed weapons.
Even if you’re playing alone this is still a great game experience – using the game’s LEAP feature you can swap between each of the four characters at-willl during combat. Combining these has the chance to produce some spectacular and extraordinary results, and you can play the game both online and offline and level up along unique character paths. What makes this better is that the game’s progression system is unified, so your characters can be improved regardless of what mode you play without you having to have a new one for each game mode.
