The Dreamfall Chapters kickstarter page has been wildly successful so far. Having hit $1,135,021 with 7 days to go is no easy task. Going well above their original goal of $850,000 Red Thread Games have set their sights to the stretch goals, the last one reached being an interactive graphic novel of the story so far.

While the trailer does try to give some exposition of the foundations of the games narrative ideas, the series intricate story will leave anyone who hasn’t played the originals scratching their heads. This should make sure that everyone is up to speed on what looks like is shaping up to be a touching experience.
