GOG.com releases Leisure Suit Larry’s Greatest Hits and Misses and 500 Game Give away To Celebrate

GOG.com is a DRM-free digital sales service. They are pleased to say that they have released Leisure Suit Larry’s Greatest Hits and Misses!

This marks their 500th game in the GOG.com database from which you can choose to buy. To celebrate, not only are the first five Leisure Suit Larry game available with goodies for $9.99, but the digital distributor with a difference is giving away 500 games to its fans, supporters, gamers, and random cybernauts lured to GOG.com by the promise of freebies.

GOG.com is an independent computer game seller and distribution service which launched back in August 2008 as Good Old Games. Over the last 4+ years the distributor has become well known for its stand against digital rights management, its relentless focus on customer love, fair prices worldwide, and goodies such as soundtracks, wallpapers, and original manuals bundled with all releases for free.

GOG.com has moved beyond its initial roots and is now recognized not just for its wide catalog of timeless PC classics, including titles like Baldur’s Gate, Freespace, or Theme Hospital, but also for new fantastic indies like FTL: Faster Than Light, Legend of Grimrock, or Machinarium, and even big newer games including The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition, Alan Wake, Omerta – City of Gangsters and more.

Leisure Suit Larry, the 500th addition to GOG.com catalog, follows Larry Laffer, a down-on-his-luck party animal, on his quest to attract attention and seduce a variety of young and attractive ladies. The adventure series, one of the most popular in video game history, became widely known and loved for its “sophisticated” humor and adult-oriented themes. The Leisure Suit Larry’s Greatest Hits includes first five Larry games with soundtrack for each and, as a bonus, a provocatively titled text-based adventure that inspired the series: “Softporn Adventure”. The game’s both PC and Mac compatible.

To celebrate 500 games in the DRM-free catalog, GOG.com is giving away 500 games. To join the raffle, gamers need only to tell the GOG-team “What’s the next step for GOG.com” or like, tweet, and share this big news using the widget here.
