Etrian Odyssey IV Legends of the Titan 3DS Coming 2013 & Limited Edition Bonuses

Upcoming RPG title for Early 2013 to Include Music CD and Limited Edition Art Book With Exclusive New Content

For centuries, the tree Yggdrasil has been a constant presence in the lives of the people of Tharsis. It looms on the horizon, invisible from everywhere in the city, but its roots are in a far-off land where no one has ventured until the Outland Count of Tharsis sponsors an Explorers Guild to reach Yggdrasil and discover its secrets. Prepare to board your skyship and set out into the clouds in search of treasure, glory, and the answer to Tharsis’ oldest mystery.

Atlus announced the details of the additional items you will get if you pre-order or pick up the game at lunch. They will get a limited edition art book as well as a music CD (while supplies last). Etrian Odyssey IV will be available at retail and on Nintendo eShop for digital download on February 26, 2013 across North America. The EU release date is TBC.

The art book shoes a variety of colourful images from the game. You can check a two page preview of the art book and see what you think.

The “Rough Drafts and Outtakes” CD gives fans unique access to the famed game composer Yuzo Koshiro’s musical masterpieces. The sound track will also include tracks that have not made it to the final section of the game.

“Fans of the Etrian Odyssey franchise will not want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind collectible for Etrian Odyssey IV,” said Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, ATLUS. “The game’s bonus items in Japan were extremely popular, and we’re excited to bring this unique art book with updated imagery and stunning CD soundtrack to those who get their hands on this title at retail launch next year.”

The game will bring enhanced 3D effects and immersive 3D dungeons with upgradable skyships where players can battle in the sky. Use the bottom touch screen on the 3DS to chart a path and create your own map through the dungeon to aid your survival. The usual character reaction and party customisation options are back in a new casual play option for novice players. Guild Cards and character trading will be available to use with the Nintendo StreetPass feature.
