During Hideo Kojima’s recent web based radio show, the man himself revealed that not only is the Zone of the Enders Sequel on hold, but that the team working on the game have been disbanded. Hideo also said that he is re-evaluating the relevance of the franchise! Hideo went on to also talk about how he was disappointed with the Zone of the Enders HD collection, specifically mentioning the performances issue the HD port has, although he did go on to to say that his team had re-programmed the game and the PlayStation 3 version would be receiving a patch soon to fix some problems (No word on an Xbox 360 patch though).

As a fan of the Zone of the Enders series it is upsetting to hear we may never get another one but things can change with Mr. Kojima, remember what happened with Metal Gear Rising?
