With the original Yakuza game released on PS2 a long long time ago, it was great to hear that at the Tokyo Game Show the original Yakuza game will be remastered. Known as Yakuza Kiwami, the game will feature update graphics to rival that of Yakuza 5 and Yakuza 0. All the content from the original title will return as well as a bunch of new scenarios that were not able to be implemented in the original release.

Yakuza Kiwami is looking at a release on January 21st in Japan and it will be coupled with a demo for the newest entry in the series, Yakuza 6. As well as the sixth instalment being revealed, it also turns out that a full movie of Yakuza is to be created as well, yet it is unclear as to whether this will feature live action or 3D models.
