Fallout 4 will be able to get mods from PC creators free of charge. Current mods for Fallout 3 will also work on the Xbox One and with the new backwards compatibility it is even more useful and further explains why the announcement came today.

There has been no announcement for direct mod creation from Xbox One but giving users the ability to create mods on PC and then play them on your Xbox One is by far an amazing feature.

This also opens the doors for more games to be able to have cross mod access which is not limited to the Fallout series.
