Xbox One Console Unboxed

Major Nelson himself, Larry Hryb, has recorded a video for everyone of an unboxing of the new Xbox One, showing off exactly what you will get in the box.

The video shows that the Console will now include a headset, something that Microsoft hadn’t originally intended to include. Also shown is exactly what each port on the console will do as well as the differences between the Day One and standard editions of the console.

Here is a full list of the included items in the box:

  • Xbox One Console
  • Kinect sensor
  • 1 Xbox One controller
  • Xbox One Monochat headset
  • 4K rated HDMI cable
  • Power brick
  • Owners Manual and Xbox One sticker

The console itself has 3 USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI input and output, power port, audio port for speaker systems, 2 separate ports for Kinect and a Ethernet port. It contains a 500GB hardrive, slot load Blu-ray drive, 8-core x86 processor, 853mhz GPU, wireless connectivity and a Kensington security slot.

Does the Xbox One contain everything you expected it too? Happy that Microsoft went back on their decision to include a headset? Let us know what you think in the comments.
