It has come to light that, according to Uber Entertainment the Planetary Annihilation Kickstarter project no longer has a release date. Instead a statement has been put up on their website that the title will be released, “when it’s done”. Uber Entertainment believes that Planetary Annihilation will still be available early 2014, although this rubs off the board a possible Christmas release. Jon Mavor, Chief Technical Officer for Uber Entertainment explained further, 

“It will launch when we feel confident about its level of polish and the amount of awesome we can jam into it. We are extremely happy at what we’ve been able to accomplish with the game so far, but we want to take some additional time to make sure we are releasing the best game we can”. 

The game was slated for a July release this year originally however additions and extra polish has been introduced to the game, delaying the eventual release. Do you think the title will come out early next year as intended? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
