Since it’s launch earlier this year, The Witcher 3 has gone from strength to strength, winning awards and praise wherever it may roam. Fans of the white haired monster hunter will be pleased to learn that the first major downloadable expansion, Heart of Stone, will be available October 13th on all formats. The expansion will cost approximately eight pounds at retail, and provide around ten hours of new missions to complete. If you have bought the season pass, you will be able to access the content without paying anything extra.
Hearts of Stone will also be released in a limited collector’s edition at retail for eighteen pounds, which will include a copy of the expansion plus two physical decks of Gwent cards named Monsters and Scoia’tael. It isn’t known how much the Gwent decks will cost on their own at present, but CD Projekt have assured players that they will be available to purchase seperately.
