Watch Dogs Eight Player Multiplayer and Resolution

Up to eight players will be able to ‘free roam’ through the multiplayer mode of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs, creative director Jonathan Morin confirmed in a tweet.

Morin responded to a question on the social media site about how many players the multiplayer component would support.

Also rumoured were the resolutions, with the title joining the series of games that are running at higher resolutions on the PS4 compared to the Xbox One. The ball started rolling at The Arab Gamer, which claims Ubisoft laid out the resolutions and frame-rates during a press event. Saying the PS4 will run at 1080p/30fps, the Xbox One will give 960p/30fps and PC will run up to 4K with a varied framerate. The report was then backed up by a tweet from a NeoGaf insider Shinobi602 that was posted back in February.

These are just claims, but with the stream of next-gen games confimed at running these varying resolutions it shouldn’t be brushed over.
