Troy Dunniway Joins Indian Development Studio – The Awesome Game Studio

Leading independent studio The Awesome Game Studio (TAGS) today announced that it has appointed award-winning games industry veteran Troy Dunniway as it Design Director. Dunniway previously held leading development executive positions at Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Westwood Studios, Ubisoft and Insomniac Games and will sit on the board of Directors of TAGS. His role will include management of the studios in house development.

With over 23 years of experience in games development, Dunniway has worked across the board in games development in varied roles including Creative Director, Executive Producer, Game Designer, having worked on best-selling global franchise including Age of Empires, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Command and Conquer, Fable, Resistance and Ratchet and Clank. He is also the author of Game Development Essentials: Gameplay Mechanics published by Cengage Delmar Learning.

TAGS is currently prototyping concepts for the next generation of consoles and is working on two mobile games – puzzle game Alphaman and another property based upon popular toy series Switchbotz by Imagability”.

TAGS first release Wobble Bobble was released on iOS in 2012 and got showcased in Casual Connect, Europe and Singapore. The studio is led by Managing Director Rajat Ojha, a veteran of indian games development who created India’s first freeware game in 1995 and repeated history with the release of SnS, India’s first global PlayStation 3 release.
