Trio of “Ride to Hell” Games Announced

Deep Silver has had Ride to Hell in development for a long while. First announced in 2008, the game was a gritty biker game set in the 60’s about a vietnam veteran finding it hard to return to society after the rise of the hippies. Since then not much else had been heard of the gaming after the original 2009 release date passed by. The game was thought long dead until the games surprise rating by the Australian classification board earlier this year and an achievement list turned up online. To put this gap in information in perspective the game was announced before Sons of Anarchy began, 5 biker filled seasons ago. Well now the game is both officially re-announce and is set for release this year. This isn’t just one game though, but three.

Ride to Hell: Retribution, developed by Black Forest Games, is about the story of Jake Conway. Still set in the 60’s, this action-adventure game centres on his vendetta against The Devil’s Hand biker gang featuring gunplay and brutal hand-to-hand combat. The game seems to be much more tongue-in-cheek than the original gritty, realistic vibe from 2008. The game will be released June 25th in North America and June 28th everywhere else on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Here is the trailer:

The second game “Ride to Hell: Route 666”, developed by Eutechnyx, is a downloadable title set on the legendary route 66 beterrn LA and Chicago. Promising the chance to lead your own biker gang and take control of the road through brains and brawn. Focusing on tactical arcade combat the game will be available through PSN, XBLA and Steam in June.

The last of the three is Ride to Hell: Beatdown, a mobile beat-em-up with more details coming soon.

Seems Deep Silver wants the series to go from nothing to everything in the blink of an eye. We will have to wait and see as to whether this pans out. Until then, here are some screenshots and tell us what you think below in the comments:
