Indie developer Mike Bithell and Curve Studios announced today that Thomas Was Alone for PlayStation3 and PS Vita is out on the US PlayStation Store at $9.99 and will be available tomorrow on the EU Store at £6.99. A 20 level DLC expansion pack is also available priced $2.99 or £1.99.
Thomas Was Alone is a gloriously simple concept for a game but executed very well. You play as a small yellow block called Thomas and along his was or moving through levels by getting into the hole he fits into, he meets other shapes who have personalities that are put over wonderfully by the narrator. Scoring 8 and 9 out of 10 across the internet for reviews Thomas Was Alone looks like it could be a great indie game success story.
