The Witcher 3 To Be Published In Australia By Namco Bandai

CD Projekt RED have today announced that they’re partnering with Namco Bandai Games Australia & New Zealand to publish their third entry into the Geralt trilogy there.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt promises to conclude the Witcher trilogy – which casts players as Geralt of Rivia in an open-world fantasy RPG setting – when it releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year. CD Projekt RED have a lot to live up to, as the previous games in the Witcher series have been critically praised  due to their settings, characters, and freedom of narrative choice.

CD Projekt RED ‘s head of studio, Adam Badowski, issued a small statement on the news:

“We’re really excited to continue to develop our relationship with Namco Bandai Games and, as a result, introduce The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to even more gamers across the globe. Thanks to our shared passion for games and our partner’s understanding of what core values constitute The Witcher series, I’m confident we can make the launch of The Witcher 3 something really special.”

The Witcher 3 currently doesn’t have a solid release date, but it is scheduled to be released sometime in 2014. What do you think? Will you be playing the Witcher 3 in Australia? Let us know in the comments below.
