The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot Second Open House Event Open Now

Ubisoft have just announced the second in a series of Open House events for the studio’s upcoming free-to-play PC title, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot. These Open House events allow anyone that signs up the chance to get a sneaky preview of The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, which still currently in closed beta.

The second of these Open House events started today at 3pm UK time and will run until August 6th at 10.59pm UK time. Players can either sign up or sign in with their existing Uplay account at The Might Quest for Epic Loot’s website, whereupon they will be granted immediate access to the super-secret-but-not-actually-a-secret closed beta during the event. Here is a sweet trailer to show off the event:

To celebrate the launch of the second Open House event, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot development team has issued its first Opulencian Edict (we think that means challenge), entitled “UNLEASH THE CHICKENS!”. This edict states that “If the community is able to extinguish the existence of no less than 10 million chickens during the course of the second Open House event – the chicken will be unlocked and become available as a castle defence item for all players in the next game update. Chickens have been seen congregating in Castle Chicken Shack and Castle Chicken HQ – you must band together to end their feathery, bucket-headed plots once and for all!”

The first Open House for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot took place July 2-5 and was considered to be a rousing success. Ubisoft dropped some facts from the previous event on us, stating that 71 million gold coins were plundered, 41 million life force shards looted and exactly 337,938 heroes died attempting to breach the formidable fortifications of their fellow gamers. Players decide to come back for a second swing at things in the second Open House event will be able to continue their adventure exactly where they left off, meaning that they can keep any powers, gold, loot, monsters and castle defences they earned/looted/built the last time around, which we think is just smashing.

If you’re looking for more loot, but in the real life swag sense then check out the The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot’s facebook page and twitter @MightyQuest as they will be having all sorts of giveaways and competitions in the run up to launch.
