The Farm 51 Announce Get Even

Polish developer The Farm 51 have confirmed their up-coming shooter, Get Even, for a 2015 launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Along with the announcement, the developer shared the teaser trailer ‘What is Real‘, showing off its impressive use of Thorskan technology and combination of thriller and horror elements.

Get Even is the first game to make use of the Polish Thorskan tech, which allows real world environments to be scanned and recreated in 3D to create a hyper-real in game experience. The Farm 51 elaborated on this advancement in a recent statement, commenting, “to create the photo-realistic visuals that bring the gritty universe to life, Get Even is the first game to use large-scale, real-world scanning to create expansive and life-like environments. This 3D scanning technology combines with advanced lighting effects to create a stunning and believable world that pushes the boundaries of the genre.”

The story of Get Even focuses on the memories of two main characters, and narrative will be shaped by the character’s personalities, which in turn effects what paths they will follow in game. It has also been designed to blur the lines between single and multiplayer, allowing players to enter the campaigns of others at any time to take on an enemy role, adding a new dimension to gameplay.

Though there is a still a long way off until anyone will get hands on with the game, there will no doubt be a lot more details on Get Even in the months to come. For now, check out the impressive trailer below.
