Telltale Working on “Dream IP”

In a recent Reddit AMA, Telltale Game founders Dan Connors and David Bruner hinted at the studios future after The Walking Dead: Season 2 and The Wolf Among Us

When asked about the possibility of a Star Wars game, Connors replied:

“Coming from LucasArts we have so many people here that love Star Wars and have worked with the license so that would be a great fit and very cool. In addition we will be working on a few licenses that definitely fall into our dream IP scenario and we can’t wait to announce those.”

Further on into the AMA, Bruner said:

“A Telltale Star Wars game would make me VERY happy! We’ve got some IP coming up that pretty much checks all of my personal favourites, which absolutely amazes/honours me”

What could this dream IP be? Well so far fans have ignored the Star Wars idea for other geek culture sacred cows. Among the most popular ideas are Firefly, a Clive Barker horror game, Garth Ennis’ comic Preacher and Neil Gaiman’s Sandman. Not so long ago Will wrote about comics that could be adapted to games, maybe one of them hit home? Take a look and let us know how practical you think they are.

What do you think? What IP would you love to see Telltale attempt next? Let us know in the comments.
