In a great move by both Valve and Twitch TV, it is now possible to link your Twitch.tv account with your Steam announce and even earn items while watching tournaments being played.

The Dota 2 blog explained that you’ll be able to recieve drops during tournaments if you own the ticket for that tournament. Seemingly to only support Dota 2 and not other eSports games yet, many gamers will be hoping other titles get the same support. You can link your accounts now just in time for The International Dota 2 Tournament.
